Understanding the Lift Chair and its Features

Being able to safely and independently stand and sit is something that for many is taken for granted, but can be very difficult for the elderly to preform on their own, especially seniors with arthritis. This increases the risk of a fall and can make it much more difficult for the senior to get around unassisted, but often a lift chair will provide a safe way for the senior to remain active.

The lift chair, or lift recliner, is a home medical aid that is designed to make it easier for its user to stand and sit. Offering many of the same features as a regular recliner, a lifting recliner can often improve the quality of life among the elderly.
